  3. Achintya Rao, Geneva: He was in the room at CERN where they announced the Higgs Boson discovery. We have photographic proof. 
  4. Benedict Noel, Perth: founder of Zombal scientific outsourcing. 
  5. Saurabh Somani, Bangalore: cricket journalist, works for Wisden India as Assistant Editor. 
  6. Tushar Garg, Jaipur: Spiral, staircase, helix, cycloid; bond puppeteer.
  7. Angad Chowdhry, New Delhi: founder of Sphinx, a consumer intelligence and brand strategy agency.

  10. Richard Pennington, Guildford: PhD on massive close binary stars, twice in the British team for the International Mathematical Olympiad ( bronze medal in 1977-1978) & classical musician.   
  11. Anil Nair, San Francisco: Clandestine software magnate & frazzled father of 2 who is completely in over his head on the trek.   
  12. Edward Finley, Raleigh, North Carolina: a self perceived mathematical MacGruber
